Kris-Way would like to congratulate Warren Lewis of Hannaford for winning the 2007 five axle Sleeper Division at the American Trucking Association's (ATA) Driving Championships. Warren was representing Maine as the result of his winning the 2007 Maine Motor Transport Association (MMTA) Championship in the Sleeper Class.

Warren has been competing at the MMTA event for 32 years since 1975. He is an 11 time winner. He has represented Maine 11 times at the national level. Three of his national competitions were at the US Nationals, and his other eight competitions were at the larger American Trucking Association (ATA) National Competition. Warren is a previous champion at the US Nationals, and he had placed as high as third at the ATA Championship.

Warren's victory comes as little surprise. He has been driving for 43 years, 35 of which have been in service for Hannaford. He has logged over 3 million accident free miles. Warren is also the son of a professional driver. His father drove for over 37 years.
